For new and returning School and club rowers, the new season's winter training program starts in early Winter. A winter program is an important part of your preparation and we'll work around your winter sport. Traing options are Saturday or Sunday at 7.30am

Novice school or club rowers also need to start rowing from Terms 2 and 3. Look for notices on Facebook or this website or if at school, look for notices there or talk to the rowers there already. Schools 'Learn to Row'Our learn-to-row program runs continually from May. We'd like to start morning trainings by August as winter sport comes to an end. We work around your winter sport by giving the option of Saturday or Sunday training (9.30am) and there are plenty of time spots for our short land-based sessions during the week.
You'll have more options during the year if you bring some school friends along with you. We prefer students from Year 9 to Year 13 Where and when? Rotorua Rowing Club, Water Sports Building, Town Lakefront, Rotorua Saturdays on water. Weekday sessions on Rowing machines - times to be arranged.
